When it comes to your business website, you don’t want to have to change web hosts every year and migrate your information every 12 months or so. And if you’re like any other small business, you want room to grow as your business website gains popularity and becomes a bigger source of revenue for your company.

Cloud hosting gives you the flexibility to scale your business website needs. When you need more computing power and resources, you can easily and instantly add those resources with a few clicks. That is the beauty of cloud hosting.

The SiteCloud plan is a single plan very similar to shared hosting plans. The price for their cloud hosting is $4.95 per month.
ReliaCloud allows their clients to pay as they go for their cloud hosting service. Based on metered usage and the amount and type of resources used such as number of CPUs, RAM, disk size, OS platform, and outgoing bandwidth. These resources can change as your needs change during a month, but start at $0.05 per hour, or around $37 per month.

As for extra products or services, ReliaCloud does not offer much. Instead, they focus on cloud architecture and reliability. However, their hosting does come with at least one unique IP address.

Web Hosting Features
ReliaCloud customers choose their hosting resources, including operating system. Clients are responsible for uploading and maintaining their own software and scripts for use on their website. This type of hosting is generally for a medium-sized or bigger business with their own IT staff who develop and manage the website.
SiteCloud helps their clients build a website from the ground up. The plan comes with features like unlimited bandwidth, web space, hosted domains, email accounts, and MySQL databases. And SiteCloud supports many of the popular programming languages, scripts, and plugins.
Both SiteCloud and ReliaCloud offer 24 hour live support, but only via email. It is unclear whether ReliaCloud has an online chat available for anything other than sales support. SiteCloud also offers telephone support during business hours only. ReliaCloud offers no telephone contact.
As for online help, both do offer a knowledgebase where clients can look up information. However, both ReliaCloud and SiteCloud’s online articles are sparse compared to other major web hosts. ReliaCloud does offer a few video tutorials in addition to their online articles.
As cloud hosting continues to evolve, both ReliaCloud and SiteCloud offer a valuable online hosting service. However, based on additional products, services, and features available, our recommendation goes to SiteCloud for your business.
