Warning – do not deal with this company. My very, very strong recommendation is that you do not deal with this company, unless you are happy that all your website data, content and everything else is lost. Their most recent crash of 2 days ago, wiped us out, and they DO NOT bad up data, or operate any form of redundancy. Their customer support was pitiful (with the exception of d’arcy who at least attempted to keep us informed). Once of their customer support actually hung up on us “I’m going to hang up on you now if you are not nice to me” – when I asked them what was happening to our data.

We had a reseller account, with 5-6 clients and their websites and data, that were all lost.

Even ipage is not a perfect hosting company but they are really good for the cheap. They are good for beginner webmaster but not for a huge traffics website. I had my account with them then transferred to inmotion dedicated server after reached its limit with ipage shared environment.

Been with them for six months and never had a single issues. bluehost has an excellent uptime and services. Its price is not cheap but I am considering that cheap compared to how good the technical support are.

I came from Dotster to Hostmonster last month. Their options and uptime are great but technical support were lacking of knowledge of transferring my website. It took about 10 hours to get it done. It was only a small wordpress blog with some customized plugins added. They cannot answered my question why the transfer took so long.

I must say hostmonster is good for anyone to begin first website but not when you need their help to transfer your current existing website.

I was about to switch hosting company because of really bad uptime and services. I had contacted around 4 companies before inmotion and they all were failed to transfer it. A website made by my own custom script ( I hired a programmer in getafreelancer.com to made it) and the script itself has many restrictions. I just contacted inmotion to see if they “might” be able to get the job done. I was surprised that the transfer went smooth and flawlessly. That was about the beginning between me and this company.

Inmotion never failed me and worth the money I paid for. Good hosting with great support and uptime, recommended.
